Who we are

SponsorJobEU (eu.sponsorjobuk.com) is a free job information service for people who need an employer in the Netherlands, Ireland or Denmark to sponsor their work permit. It is run by the people behind SponsorJobUK, from the UK. For anything in this policy, write to support@sponsorjobuk.com. A real person reads it.

What we collect, and why

• Your email address and the countries you picked, when you ask for job alerts. We need them to send you the alerts you asked for. This is consent under UK and EU GDPR, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
• Your answers about employers. If you tap "they sponsored me" or "they said no" in an alert, we keep that verdict against the job and the company, so the next reader benefits. It is tied to your subscription, never shown with your name.
• Support messages. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you and remember what we promised you.
• Technical logs. Our servers keep short-lived logs with IP addresses to stop abuse, such as bulk scraping and form spam. This is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working. Logs are not used to profile you.
• Our own counting, and nothing else. We count which pages and buttons are used, and that is all we store: the name of the thing clicked and the page it happened on. No IP address, no name, no email, nothing that points back to you. We use no third-party analytics and no advertising trackers, so there is nothing here to consent to.

Cookies

None that track you. There is no sign-in, no account and no payment, so the site sets no cookies of its own.

What we never do

• We never sell or rent your data to anyone.
• We never share your email with employers, agents, advertisers or job boards.
• We do not run marketing lists. The only emails we send are the alerts you asked for, one welcome email, one request for a review after two weeks, and replies to your questions.

Affiliate links

Some job links carry an affiliate code for the job board they lead to. The board may record that the click came from us. We send them nothing about you, and they cannot see your email address.

Who processes data for us

We use a small number of service providers, each bound by its own data processing terms: Resend (sending our emails), Neon (database hosting), and our server host. They process data only on our instructions. Some providers process data outside the UK and EU under standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Your subscription stays while you want the alerts. Unsubscribe and we stop sending immediately; ask us to delete and we delete everything we hold about you within one month.

Your rights

Under UK and EU GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email support@sponsorjobuk.com and we will act within one month. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) in the UK or to the data regulator in your own country.

Not for children

This service is for adults looking for work. It is not aimed at anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update this page and the date at the top. We will not quietly weaken it.
